Training on Maize production technology by KVK Anjaw.
Maize is one of the important crops of Anjaw district and in order to increase the productivity of maize a training programme on Maize production technology was organized by KVK Anjaw KVK office at Khupa on 9th July 2015. and All together 29 farmers mostly farm women and local youth attended the training attended the training programme. Khoisnam Naveen, Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) Agronomy, was the coordinator of the training programme. He spoke on critical aspects of maize cultivation with special reference on improved high yielding varieties and different stages of water management. Further, he addresses multiple advantages of intercropping maize with pulses and vegetables before concluding the training.
